Things To Know About Dining With Us
Regular Reservations: We accept reservations a maximum of 30 days out. Parties of 8 or less can be made online via OpenTable. Larger than 8 can be made over the phone at 662-236-6363 or by emailing snackbarreservations@gmail.com. Please note, we cannot guarantee a quick response to any emailed request, nor does any email secure a reservation. If your request is pressing, we strongly encourage you to call the restaurant. We require a credit card to book a reservation for parties of 6 or more. A $20 per person fee will be assessed to the credit card on file for cancellations made without a 24 hour notice and no-shows.
Events/Private Dining: Requests can be made by emailing Presley Baty (General Manager) at presleybaty.snackbar@gmail.com.
Special Weekend Reservations: We accept reservations for Special Weekends (i.e. Football, Graduation, and Double Decker) exactly 30 days out. These become available at 12:00 AM Central Time via OpenTable. We require a credit card for all party sizes. A $40 per person fee will be assessed to the credit card on file for cancellations made without a 24 hour notice and no-shows, as well as a $20 per person fee for changes in party size. Please note, do not email for reservations on these weekends.
Dress Code: While we do not technically require a dress code, Chef John Currence does ask that you remove your hat when dining with us.
We are Oxford’s neighborhood restaurant and “living room,” affectionately regarded as such by former executive chef, Chef Vishwesh Bhatt, and Oxonians alike. In 2009, the founder of the City Grocery Restaurant Group, Chef John Currence, situated our “Southern Brasserie” just off The Square in the now-revived Midtown Shopping Center. In support of our community, we strive to use local ingredients whenever possible. We are the place for fresh raw oysters on the half shell, skillfully-crafted cocktails, and ardent fare by Bhatt’s protégé, Sebastian Markowitz. Let us show you a truly memorable experience. You are welcome here. Our door is open to all.
